  • 95% of people go into work whilst still suffering from a cold.
  • Only 20% of workers take active measures to help reduce the risk of catching a cold.
  • In the first six weeks of 2007, 9 million people in the UK had taken a day off work due to cold or flu-like symptoms.
  • 47% of people still get called at home by the office when they’re off sick.
  • 41% of people believe that if a colleague has a cold, it is almost inevitable that they will catch it themselves.
